Triflow Future Talents Winner - Trees designed by John Walsh

Triflow Concepts is delighted to announce JOHN WALSH has won the first ever ‘Triflow Future Talents' design competition, held as part of this year's 100% Design London exhibition at Earls Court , 24th-27th September.

The Triflow Future Talents Competition encouraged students and designers alike to submit designs for a pioneering new kitchen or bathroom tap or accessory.

Over 80 designs were submitted to our London headquarters. These were then whittled down to a shortlist of five by a prestigious judging panel, comprising of renowned architect Zaha Hadid, editor-in-chief of Wallpaper magazine Tony Chambers, celebrated interior designer David Collins and Times columnist Caroline Roux.

The final five shortlisted entries were displayed on the Triflow Concepts stand at 100% Design with visitors to the stand voting for their favourite entry over the four days. All five designs generated a wealth of interest and received very positive comments, but with 35% of the public vote, the winning design was ‘Trees' designed by John Walsh.

John's design will be taken into production by Triflow Concepts. He will receive a cash prize of £1500 plus royalties from sales of the tap. Upon hearing the news he had won, John was "very happy" and confirmed he "looked forward to working with Triflow".
