Clean drinking water is an essential daily requirement; however did you know that 663 million people are currently living without safe water?
We believe everyone should be entitled to clean water which is why we are supporting WaterAid on World Water Day, Wednesday 22 March 2017.
Through fundraising and community projects, WaterAid work with the world’s poorest communities to improve access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. World Water Day is an opportunity to learn more about these water related issues whilst also making a difference.
During 20th – 24th March, cake sales, dress in blue, and a 5-a-side football match are just some of the ways we will be raising money for WaterAid. We hope that you too will find time to support this worthy cause, wherever you are!
Ways in which you can get involved:
- Dress in blue. Think blue, wigs, hats, lipstick, double denim, shoes and nails!
- Update your profile or cover photo on social media with #Blue4Water
- Get in the baking spirit and have a blue cake sale
- Sponsored events such as a walk (and remember to dress in blue)
And if time is against you, you can always donate from the comfort of your home, by visiting our JustGiving page.
For only a few pounds, you could be helping to supply access to safe water. Any contribution to WaterAid will help to change lives.
Together, let’s make a difference.
